Ryan Catterton graduated from Wartburg College in Waverly, Iowa with a Bachelors Degree in Music Education and Performance, with an emphasis in instrumental music. He has formal training in strings, woodwind and brass, piano, percussion and guitar. He has 10 years experience working in public and private schools, colleges and workshops. This broad range of experience has allowed him the opportunity to work with all ages of students Pre-K through adult. He has also oﬀered guitar lessons for children and adults through Chesapeake College. Ryan has operated a private lesson studio for the last 10 years oﬀering individual lessons on a variety of instruments.
Ryan has experience leading small and large wind ensembles, from beginner to advanced. He also performs on a regular basis with several local music ensembles that range from jazz to Americana performing in local establishments, private functions and the Avalon Theatre. He also operates a small custom guitar shop that is run out of his home in Easton, Maryland that specializes in electric guitars.
