Lisa grew up in Balmore where she began playing guitar, 5 string banjo and singing at a young age. After high school she took classes to learn recording and sound techniques at a local studio where she was eventually hired as second engineer. Lisa moved to the eastern shore in 1997 and started her studies at Chesapeake College for Human Services Mental Health. She used her knowledge and experience working in several non-proﬁt organizations with children and adults in the mental health ﬁeld until she was led to teach music full time.
Since 2007 Lisa has been teaching guitar, banjo and general music theory in the Easton area. She is complimented on her paence and ability to teach beginner students who have struggled to learn otherwise. Currently Lisa performs at several venues in the area with local musicians as well as in the praise band at her church.
