Kimberly Stevens

Director, Choreographer

After graduating from Loyola College in Baltimore, Kimberly began teaching music at Chesapeake Academy in Arnold, Maryland.  Through her music program, she also incorporated dance and drama. While teaching at Chesapeake Academy, she had the opportunity to direct many musical productions for both children and adults. At that time, Kimberly also became very involved with theater groups in the Annapolis area. She has performed on many stages, including The Chesapeake Music Hall Dinner Theater, St. Martin’s in the Field Community Theater and the Oxford Community Theater. In addition, she has directed and choreographed for a number of theaters and schools, such as the Annapolis Summer Garden Theater, the Avalon Theatre, St. Mary’s High School, Saints Peter and Paul High School and Saints Peter and Paul Elementary School. Kimberly has worked in musical theatre in Easton for the past 12 years.

Acting, directing and choreographing credits include: Gypsy, 42nd Street, You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown, Oliver, The Wiz, Crazy For You, Good News, The Wizard of Oz, Rock Around the Dock, Annie, Beauty and the Beast, Willy Wonka , Aladdin, Thoroughly Modern Millie, The Little Mermaid, Guys and Dolls, School House Rock LIVE, Xanadu, Hairspray, Alice in Wonderland, My Son Pinocchio, The Aristocats, 101 Dalmatians, The Jungle Book, Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty.

Currently, Kimberly is directing CCT productions, the Chesapeake Youth Chorale and teaching adult tap class.  Through Chesapeake Children’s Theatre & Performing Arts Center, Kimberly hopes to share her love of the theatre year-round to children of all ages.
